Join us and create two 12 x 12" layouts with our colorful "Color of Life" and "Floral and Stripes" paper collections. It’s an elegant double-page layout that will introduce you to the world of crafting with great and simple techniques for beginners. This one-hour class will teach you how to integrate the use of stencils, shimmer accents, and inking. Don’t miss out on learning the basic skills of putting together this adorable project! - What products will be highlighted: Stencils, shimmers, inks, specialty mirror paper, white cardstock, KNC Essentials "Color of life" and "Floral & Stripes" paper collections, plus KNC Essentials ephemera and sentiments cutouts.
- What will I learn or complete: Two 12 x 12" layouts, if time permits.
- What do I need to bring to class: Paper trimmer, photo corner punch, blending dauber, black ink pad, dimensional foam adhesive, and liquid glue or double-sided tape. Optional: Four photos (3 x 4" and 4 x 6").
- What do I need to finish at home: Nothing.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn how to use stencils with gesso, inking, photo framing, and shimmering embellishments.
- Will I complete this project in class: It is possible some people will finish the projects in class.
