Type of Workshop:
Learn new techniques to make your scrapbook pages fun and interactive using Close To My Heart,s Flip Flaps™ Memory Protectors™! You will create six coordinating 12 x 12" pages using 14 Flip Flaps of various sizes, and we will show you how to layer them creatively to hold up to 54 photos. You will also use our Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad in this year,s new color, Bluebird, to add a layer of dimension to your pages. Silver Shimmer Trim and Clear Sparkles will be included, along with four 12 x 12" top-loading Memory Protector sheets so you can slip your completed pages right into your favorite album. Our beautiful CTMH Patterned Paper and Cardstock will be cut and prepped so you can get right to work assembling your pages. - What will I learn or complete: Three 12 x 12" double-page layouts with space for up to 54 photos, which includes a full pack of CTMH "I Heart Us" paper prepped to create this project, photo mats, cardstock, Sparkles, 14 Flip Flaps, four 12 x 12" Memory Protectors, and your own CTMH Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad in Bluebird.
- What do I need to bring to class: Detail scissors, detail adhesive (such as a Dual-Action Glue Pen), adhesive (such as Bonding Memories Broad Tip Glue Pen or Tombow), and 3D foam dots or tape. Optional: A small sponge for inking. (All items may be purchase at the Close To My Heart Booth before class, if needed.)
- What do I need to finish at home: Photos.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn how to create interactive pages with four different sizes of CTMH Flip Flaps, how to layer Flip Flaps, and how to add ink for more dimension.
- Will I complete this project in class: It is possible some people will finish the projects in class.
