You will use masking and stamping techniques to construct this beautifully, detailed scene. We will discuss tips and techniques for using layered color to blend color pencils, and you will color your scene with them. We recommend Prismacolor pencils because of their soft pigment and their ability to blend by layering color. Your kit includes the stamp set for you to keep!
- What products will be highlighted: Colored pencils, rubber stamps, and Eclipse Tape.
- What will I learn or complete: One scene featuring the five images from the stamp set, assembled into a greeting card.
- What do I need to bring to class: Black dye ink pad, colored pencils (for best results we recommend Prismacolor), scissors, acrylic blocks (assorted sizes), and adhesive.
- What do I need to finish at home: Nothing.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn scene building (masking) techniques and how to layer and blend with colored pencils.
- Will I complete this project in class: It is possible some people will finish the projects in class.
