Learn to make a unique mini album by de-constructing a Little Golden Book, adding pages to the story, and binding it with a Cinch binding machine. The Close To My Heart Chantilly paper and cardstock collection will be used for these feminine pages to feature girls of any age. There will be space for 14 photos of various sizes. You will be shown how to use Close To My Heart Flip Flaps to include more photos. You will be given a prepared kit with written instructions featuring color photos. All papers will be pre-cut and all Cricut cuts included. Class time will be spent demonstrating the process of de-constructing a Little Golden Book, adding pages, and putting it back together as a mini album.
- What products will be highlighted: Close To My Heart Chantilly paper and cardstock and Close To My Heart Flip Flaps.
- What will I learn or complete: A mini album using a Little Golden Book.
- What do I need to bring to class: Basic scrapbook supplies including fine-tip glue, tape runner, and foam tape or foam dots.
- What do I need to finish at home: Nothing.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn how to deconstruct a Little Golden Book to create a mini album with additional pages, as well as how to affix Close To My Heart Flip Flaps within an album.
- Will I complete this project in class: Work at home will be needed to finish projects.
