This class will teach you to build a scene using masking, as well as how to use the stipple brush monochromatic technique. You will work on both coated and uncoated cardstock to create both a daytime and evening version. We colored our daytime scene with Prismacolor pencils, but you can use your favorite medium. It is likely that you will finish your coloring after class. You will share stamps with a buddy, and you will take home one of the stamp sets used.
- What products will be highlighted: Coated and uncoated cardstock, stamps, and a stipple brush.
- What will I learn or complete: Two cards, some stamps, and new knowledge.
- What do I need to bring to class: Stipple brushes, scissors, assorted acrylic blocks (one must accommodate a 5" wide image), black dye ink pad, assorted light to dark blue dye ink pads, and a white gel pen. Optional: Adhesive, and your favorite coloring medium.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn about masking, scene building, and stipple brush technique.
- Will I complete this project in class: Work at home will be needed to finish projects.
