This project-based class will take a usable hand mirror of today back in time. You will have a choice in class of making the lighter or darker version of the mirror. You will be using Art Anthology’s Sorbet Dimensional Medium in Drab, Minx Shimmering Ink in Decedent, and gesso, while using as assortment of napkins as a base. You will also be introduced to the wonderful PPA. Each mirror will be adorned with different found objects that you will be able to pick and choose from yourself. This will be a usable mirror and will look stunning on any nightstand. This class is a must for the mixed media enthusiast! - What products will be highlighted: All things Art Anthology - paints and Minx.
- What will I learn or complete: A vintage-inspired mirror.
- What do I need to bring to class: Heat gun, craft mat, and zip dry or any other quick-drying adhesive.
- What do I need to finish at home: Nothing.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn about the wonderful world of Art Anthology mixed media!
- Will I complete this project in class: Yes it is very likely you will finish the projects in class.
