Explore scenic stamping from a beginner,s level. This is a technique class and will include very basic stamping, simple masking and layering color using the stippling technique. You MUST bring 3 or 4 CLEAN, full-size stipple brushes to class along with detail scissors. While it will be fast paced, tips on perspective will be sprinkled in. The scenes are your project. We do not expect to have time to assemble cards in class, but your kit will include the paper and envelopes for you to do so later.
- What products will be highlighted: Coated cardstock, stipple brushes, eclipse tape (masking), and dye inks.
- What will I learn or complete: Two scenes, suitable to assemble into cards.
- What do I need to bring to class: 3 or 4 clean full-size stipple brushes (size 4 or 6 work best), and detail scissors.
- What do I need to finish at home: Adhesive (if you wish to assemble your scenes into cards).
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn about masking, stamping on coated cardstock, layering, and blending colors using the stipple technique.
- Will I complete this project in class: Yes it is very likely you will finish the projects in class.
