Have you ever made a clear card? Let’s make a clear acetate Christmas card together! We will demo hot foiling on acetate live during class. To allow enough time to finish your card in class, you will receive a pre-foiled acetate card front. We will cover techniques to make clear cards that can be used without a hot foiling machine, and you will also learn about layered die cutting. This is going to be a lot of fun, so come join us!
- What products will be highlighted: Hot foil plates, Distress Inks, and glitter pastes.
- What will I learn or complete: A clear, A2-size Christmas card that will be assembled during class.
- What do I need to bring to class: Paper trimmer, blending brushes, glue, and a tape runner.
- What do I need to finish at home: Distress Inks.
- What techniques will I learn or use: We will demo hot foiling on acetate live during class. Plus, we will cover techniques to make clear cards that can be used without a hot foiling machine. We will also learn about layered die cutting.
- Will I complete this project in class: Yes it is very likely you will finish the projects in class.
