This fun 6 x 6" top-load album is designed with a modern and fun look for go-getter-minded crafters. It combines soft-tone colors with an old classic look. You will learn to mix fabrics with cardstock, add magnets, and create accordion pockets. Besides having multiple pockets, you will have the flexibility to insert tags that will hold pictures on both sides or use the tags as journal cards. And if you desire, these can also serve as recipe tags. Your imagination is the limit!
- What products will be highlighted: Bookbinding and inking techniques will be discussed.
- What will I learn or complete: A 6 x 6" album.
- What do I need to bring to class: Paper trimmer, scissors, X-Acto/craft knife, bone folder, bookbinding spatula, small towel, Tacky glue (8oz), and Fabri-Fix glue (8oz). Optional: Envelope punch board and your favorite border punches.
- What do I need to finish at home: Nothing.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn how to create an album by adhering a fabric roll to the covers and adding magnets and accordion pockets.
- Will I complete this project in class: It is possible some people will finish the projects in class.
