Type of Workshop: | Card Making | | | Stamping | |
Join us to experience this new technique using material that has been re-thought and discover new ways to color and blend using stencils. Stenciling has been used for years to add backgrounds to cards but now designers are using it in tandem with matching stamp sets to color in outlined images and to create outline-free, color-blended images. If you have not experienced these new techniques, let us show them to you. You will take home the two stamp sets and the three stencils used in class (Rubbernecker item #3496-06, #3496-06S, #35050, #35050S and #4130) and three completed cards including envelopes valued at $68. - What products will be highlighted: Brush stenciling techniques using stamps and dye ink pads.
- What will I learn or complete: Three A2 greeting cards with envelopes and the stamp sets and stencils used to make more.
- What do I need to bring to class: Double-sided tape or tape runner.
- What do I need to finish at home: Nothing.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn how to apply dye ink using Rubbernecker layered stencils and brushes to paper to achieve a multi-color blended effect.
- Will I complete this project in class: Yes it is very likely you will finish the projects in class.
