In this class, you’ll explore the fascinating world of hot foiling, a technique that adds a touch of luxury and shimmer to your projects. Whether you’re new to hot foiling or looking to refine your skills, our expert guidance will help you master the process, enabling you to create stunning shimmer foil effects on transparent acetate. Additionally, you’ll learn the art of ink blending using layering stencils, a technique that brings color, depth, and texture to your see-through cards. We’ll guide you through choosing the right inks and stencils to achieve beautiful, layered designs that complement the foil elements. To complete your masterpiece, we’ll delve into the world of die-cutting, teaching you how to embellish your cards with intricate die cuts that add an extra dimension of beauty and complexity. (PLEASE NOTE: Inks and blending brushes will be provided for use in class. If you choose to bring your own dye or distress inks, please bring one ink shade per color family.) - What products will be highlighted: Hot foiling, dies, and stencils
