Come join Ken Oliver to create a beautiful 8 1/2 x 11" Color Burst watercolor journal. In this technique class, we will focus on color theory, layering colors, stenciling, stamping, coloring, and wet-on-wet painting. You,ll learn techniques that can be applied to your card making, scrapbooking, mixed media, watercolor painting, and home décor projects. You will leave class with mastery in Color Burst techniques. Your kit will include: one pack of 11 x 17" Water Media Paper and a Kraft Tex cover. Color Burst, stencils, brushes, and templates will be available for in-class use. - What products will be highlighted: You will learn several techniques for using Color Burst from Color Burst creator Ken Oliver and how to apply them in your card making, scrapbooking, mixed media, watercolor painting, and home décor projects.
- What will I learn or complete: One Color Burst technique book. Finished size 8.5 x 11".
- What do I need to bring to class: Paper Towels and a heat tool.
- What do I need to finish at home: Color Burst.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn how to stencil, create watercolor washes, spritz and sprinkle techniques, color theory, wax resist, and wet-on-wet painting with Color Burst.
