During this technique-driven workshop, we will create an Art Journal (6 x 6 ½ x 2") using my latest Desire collection designed in cooperation with the Stamperia brand. The workshop will focus on scrapbooking and mixed media techniques. We will paint and age the resin mold of a dancing woman. We will also make a cover and decorate the journal inside. The kit includes all the necessary materials for this journal, including a journal-ready base.
- What products will be highlighted: Acrylic paint, antique paste, fluid gloss, and volume paste.
- What will I learn or complete: A fully-decorated art journal.
- What do I need to bring to class: Hot glue gun and hobby glue (white glue).
- What do I need to finish at home: Paper trimmer, scissors, putty knife, and a brush.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn several scrapbooking and mixed media techniques.
- Will I complete this project in class: It is possible some people will finish the projects in class.
