It,s easy to create stunning mixed media backgrounds when you understand how products work together. Jen Starr will guide you through some basic principles of color theory that will help you understand how to choose colors that blend perfectly every time (without making mud) and how to make colors pop on your pages. You will be able to choose color palettes that you love while you create two 12 x 12" layouts. As you discover all that makes Art Anthology products so unique and versatile, you will learn many mixed media techniques that will translate seamlessly into any of your future projects! - What products will be highlighted: Art Anthology paints, mists, and stencils.
- What will I learn or complete: Two 12 x 12" layouts.
- What do I need to bring to class: Baby wipes, paper towels, and a variety of brushes. Optional: A heat tool.
- What do I need to finish at home: Photos.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn about color theory, along with a variety of mixed media techniques using mists and paint mediums together with stencils.
- Will I complete this project in class: Yes it is very likely you will finish the projects in class.
