Card Making  Stamping

No supplies are needed in this beginning watercolor class! We bring it all for you so you can paint, play, and discover how fun watercoloring can be. You will create with a variety of different watercolor-related products (paint, markers, pencils) to try out and decide which water-based option is the one you love best. We will talk about watercolor paper, brushes, ink selection, and other basics to ensure great results. You will receive plenty of product education, and great tips and tricks will be shared and prizes will be given at the end of class. Plus, you will keep the 9-piece clear stamp and mask set you’ll use to create!

  • What products will be highlighted: Watercolor techniques with stamping using paint, pencils, and markers.
  • What will I learn or complete: Several practice images which can be turned into cards and a 9-piece clear stamp and mask set to keep.
  • What do I need to bring to class: Stamping block, solvent-based ink pad (like Staz-On or Finesse Water-Proof), and a tape runner.
  • What do I need to finish at home: Paint brush and paints, pencils, or markers.
  • What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn how to stamp and mask with watercolor and how to blend and shade with watercolor pencils or paint.
  • Will I complete this project in class: Yes it is very likely you will finish the projects in class.
