This class introduces you to scenic stamping. You will use six different images to create this stunning night scene, featuring reflections of the night sky. You will learn how to use masking to seamlessly meld the images together. Perspective will also be discussed, which is an integral element in successful scenic stamping. Your kit will include two stamps to take home so you continue creating beautiful night scenes.
- What products will be highlighted: Individual image stamps used together to create a scene, Eclipse masking tape, and coated cardstock.
- What will I learn or complete: One scene, two image stamps, plus materials to turn your scene into a card, if desired.
- What do I need to bring to class: One large and one medium acrylic block (each covered on one side by tack and peel) and detail scissors.
- What do I need to finish at home: Optional: Adhesive and glitter.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn about stamp masking, repetitive stamping, scene building, and perspective.
- Will I complete this project in class: Yes it is very likely you will finish the projects in class.
