This combo hands-on workshop and lecture class will demystify ink types and inking techniques. There are so many types and brands of ink pads out there that even the most seasoned stamper can get confused! This class aims to educate and let you play. We’ll talk about blending techniques and storage solutions as well. You’ll play with and take home a Color Layering Technique Kit containing two blending brushes, five different colors of ink pads, five sheets of cardstock, and three layering stencils-all valued at $25. And of course, prizes will "bee" given! - What products will be highlighted: Ink pad differences, what each type is designed for, and other tools and accessories for successful ink blending.
- What will I learn or complete: A stamped and blended background card and a Color Layering Technique Kit.
- What do I need to bring to class: Scissors, acrylic stamping block, and adhesive.
- What do I need to finish at home: Nothing.
- What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn about different types of ink and some blending and stamping will be demonstrated, plus you'll get to do some ink blending and stamping as well as you create a card.
- Will I complete this project in class: Yes it is very likely you will finish the projects in class.
